Labor Day Officer Meeting at Applebees

We didn't have school today so we decided to go out for the officer meeting. This means we went to Applebees. It's within walking distance of the school and if we go after 9 there is half priced appetizers. This is wonderful for us poor college students.

Anyway, on to the important stuff.

Anime club starts tomorrow!!! So if you are a SMSU student or in the Marshall area you should go there. 9pm in Charter Hall (CH) 201. If watching anime with a group full of awesome people isn't enough incentive will I be able to entice you with cookies? Because there is going to be chocolate chip cookies.

We will be giving information about Anime Detour at club. It's best if you show up if you want to learn more about that. I don't know all of the details.

The club fair is on Wednesday from 11-1 in the upper student center. You should show up. We're going to have rootbeer floats and be generally awesome. This will also give you a great opportunity to sign up for the newsletter.

Monthly!! This is a twelve hour event that will be held on September 29th from Noon until Midnight. We will be watching Pumpkin Scissors. Yay!

SA link, all of us officers are there and you should be too, provided you are a SMSU student of course.

Mariah drew us pretty things which will get put on posters as soon as I (Chloe) am able to get to a computer lab to do a little photoshopping. Which will probably be tomorrow now that I think about it. Cat has half a picture that she's working on. Hopefully she finishes it soon.

Fun Stuff:
The officers were discussing coordinating shirt colors for the first meeting.
"What color is your best shirt?" Jamison to Michael
"Hawaiian."

So now all of the officers are planning on wearing Hawaiian shirts tomorrow. We're going to look like some sort of weird cult. But that's not the first time we've been called that. Our group designation was then changed from "cult" to "pod" like a pod of dolphins.
